Hightower’s 2^nd Place Hurdle Run Earns Weekly Honor Roll Selection

New Haven, Conn. – (4/22/2015) – In a week where the Chestnut Hill College men’s and women’s track teams competed in two separate events it was a 2^nd place hurdles run at the Gwynedd-Mercy College Midweek Twilight Meet that garnered first-time competitor, junior, Noel Hightower (Easton, Pa.) a spot on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Honor Roll. Hightower was the first of two Griffins to finish the 100-meter hurdle event, running a 59.83 to place two spots above classmate, Manon Purnell (Philadelphia, Pa.) (4^th, 1:02.66).

The men’s and women’s track teams compete next at the famous Penn Relays which are scheduled for Thursday, April 23, and Saturday, April 25.
